BIOGRAPHY

"To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time."

- Leonard Bernstein

Justin Eubanks found an interest in music when he was eleven years old. He was intrigued by the stories and sounds crafted by the music in his favorite films and video games, and wished to be a part of that world.

A proud product of Orange County Public Schools, Justin fostered an appreciation for the performance of music throughout his schooling career. It was in his sophomore year of high school that Justin began arranging and composing, primarily for percussion ensemble before setting his sights on larger projects.

In 2017, Justin began performing with the Brass Band of Central Florida as a percussionist. Through his experience, he developed a love for performance, leading him to pursue a degree in music at the University of Central Florida in 2019.

While Justin enjoyed performing alongside his fellow peers in a number of UCF performing ensembles, he always felt more at home in his music theory classes, instead of on the stage. It was at this point that Justin began to shift his focus from performance to composition.

In 2023, Justin began working on Everlasting Rime, his first ever collection of compositions for large ensembles. The works are inspired by the fictional setting of Icewind Dale. The album serves as a love letter to R.A. Salvatore and the creative minds at Wizards of the Coast.
